There are approximately 10,860 to 11,000 seats available across more than 150 participating law colleges in Maharashtra. 

The admit card for the 3-yr LLB course is expected in the last week of March 2026. The hall ticket for the 5-yr LLB cours will tentatively be issued in the first week of May 2026. 

Till not state CET cell Maharashtra has not released any notification stating the same or any guideline regarding the extension of the registration window. However, application correction window is expected to be released soon. 

The below mentioned govt IDs will be allowed for entry to the MH CET test centre:

• Aadhaar Card / E-Aadhaar with photograph.
• PAN Card.
• Passport.
• Voter ID Card.
• Permanent Driving License.
• Bank Passbook with a photograph.

In the MH CET Law 2026 5 yr LLB food items are not allowed inside the examination hall. Only transparent water bottle will be allowed. 

These items are mandatory:

1. Printed copy of your MH CET Law 2026 hall ticket
2. One valid, government-issued original photo identification
3. A self-attested photocopy of the same photo ID you are carrying in original
4.  Carry 1–2 additional recent photographs

Candidates are not allowed to use unfair means prohibited in the exam such as mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth, or calculators, hidden cameras, screen mirroring.

As per the initial student reaction captured in 2025, this was the observation regarding the exam difficulty level: "The MHCET Law 2026 exam was of an easy to moderate level. In the 3-year LLB exam, questions came as expected, ranging from easy to moderate. Yes, it is mandatory to fill out the MH CET Law 2026 5 yr LLB application forms to appear for the exam. Candidates who will not fill the form will not be able to get admission in the MHCET Law participating colleges.

MH CET Law 2026 Registration had to close on January 24, 2026. CET Cell Maharashtra extended the deadline to February 14, 2026. It was later extended again to March 15, 2026. Candidates are therefore advised to fill out the form before the deadline. 

MH CET Law 2026 5 Year LLB application fee has been defined differently for all category candidates. No candidate has been exempted from paying the fee. Both male and female candidates will have to pay the fees. 

The candidate should have a Domicile Certificate from the State of Maharashtra where the candidate belongs, or the candidate should have a Birth certificate issued by the respective State Government.
