The Film and Television Institute of India has successfully concluded the FTII JET Stage 2 exam today (October 11, 2025). The institute will soon release the results on the official website.
FTII JET Stage 2 Exam 2025
The FTII JET Stage 2 Exams 2025 are over. The Film and Television Institute of India conducted the Stage 2 exams between September 26 and October 11, 2025. The exams were held at the FTII Pune Campus. The Stage 2 exams included the Screenwriting and Screen Acting exams. Candidates who passed the FTII JET Stage 1 (Paper I & Paper II exam) were eligible to appear for the FTII JET Stage 2 exam. The exams were administered in different batches.
FTII JET Stage 2 Exam Over: What Now?
Now that the FTII JET Stage 2 exams are over, candidates who appeared for the exam have to wait for the institute to release the results. The FTII JET final merit list will include 30% of FTII JET Stage 1 result and 70% of FTII JET Stage 2 result. Candidates will be provided admission based on their final merit list.
FTII JET Stage 2 Exam Result Date 2025
The Film and Television Institute of India has not yet announced the release date for the FTII JET Stage 2 exam result. The institute will release the final merit list at applyadmission.net/ftii2025/ or ftii.ac.in/announcement. Once released, candidates will be updated with the result on Shiksha page.
The FTII JET result will consist of candidate details such as - candidate's name, roll number, scores obtained in Part A and Part B, overall rank, and qualification status for further rounds of admission. Candidates must download the result or take its screenshot and keep it handy till the complete admission process of the FTII JET is over.
No, there is no such provision for re-evaluation provided by the exam conducting authority for the FTII JET result. However, if candidates find any issue with their answer sheet they can request a review of their answer scripts within a specified time frame after the result declaration but the chances of redressal is very low.

Candidates who qualify in the Film and Television Institute of India Joint Entrance Test will be called for the orientation and interview process or audition round (for screen acting). Candidates will be shortlisted for the second round based on the scores secured in the entrance test. After that the final result will be released.
