APICET 2020 Final Round Counselling Announced

The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced the final or additional phase of counselling. While the original round of counselling was conducted from January 25 to January 29 and the Seat Allotment result on February 2. The final phase of counselling will be conducted from February 9 and February 10. This phase of APICET 2020 counselling will be conducted for the seats that have remained vacant. For this phase of counselling, the number of Helpline Centres (HLC) is 13 instead of 23, which was there during the original phase of APICET 2020 counselling. The timing for document verification is 9 am to 6 pm.

Document Verification and Option Exercising Schedule

The schedule for document verification and exercising options is given in the table below.

The seat allotment result will be declared on February 12, after 6 pm.

Who are Eligible to Participate in the Final Phase of APICET 2020 Counselling

Candidates should fulfil the following criteria to be eligible to participate in the final phase of APICET 2020 counselling:

• Qualifying candidates who did not participate in the original phase of counselling

• Candidates who have secured a seat in the first round of APICET 2020 counselling but have not taken final admission by paying the requisite fee

• Those who have got their documents verified but have not exercised their options

• Candidates who have cancelled their first phase allotment

Candidates who are satisfied with their original allotment need not exercise options or participate in the final phase of counselling again. “They shall note that if they exercise options now and a seat is allotted as per the options, the vacated seat will be allotted to the next meritorious candidate and hence they will have no claim on the previous allotment,” states APSCHE.

Documents Required for Counselling Process

Candidates eligible for the final phase of APICET 2020 counselling procedure has to carry the following documents:

a) APICET 2020 Hall ticket

b) Rank

c) SSC/ Inter / Degree or Equivalent marks memo

d) Study/Bonafide Certificate from IX to Degree

e) Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)

f) Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 01.01.2019 should also be submitted (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption)

g) PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)

h) Transfer Certificate
