APSCHE will re-conduct APICET 2020 on October 7 for the candidates who tested positive for coronavirus during the actual test dates. Know the details here.

APICET 2020 will be reconducted on October 7 for the candidates who could not appear for the exam on account of testing positive for COVID-19. According to Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh, as many as six candidates were COVID-19 positive and could not take APICET 2020 on the scheduled dates. Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE), the exam conducting body is giving the candidates a second chance to take and qualify for the exam.

Eligible candidates for the retest will be informed about the details by APSCHE. Candidates may also contact the exam officials for further details.

APICET 2020 was held in a window of two days, September 10 and September 11, 2020, in 43 cities across the exam. Owing to the coronavirus pandemic, the exam was postponed from the earlier schedule and was conducted amid strict safety protocols and precautions.

The APICET 2020 result has been declared on September 25. The exam was taken by around 60,000 candidates, out of which approximately 40,000 candidates qualified by securing minimum 25 per cent of the total marks of 200.

The APICET 2020 question papers, preliminary answer keys and response sheets were declared on September 12. Candidates could file for objection till September 15. However, despite the declaration of the result, the final APICET answer keys have not been declared yet. It is likely that the APICET 2020 counselling will commence in October.
