APICET 2020 exam is conducted in a two-day window starting today, i.e. September 10 in two slots. Almost 65,000 candidates have applied for the test by adhering to the safety guidelines for the pandemic.
The APICET question paper carries 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from three sections, Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability. The following table brings the detailed APICET 2020 exam pattern.

There is no negative marking scheme for wrong answers or questions left unanswered. There is no sectional time limit as well.
COVID-19 Safety Instructions at Test Centres
On the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the exam conducting authorities have laid out certain guidelines for maintaining social distancing at the APICET test centre and other safety precautions to avoid contraction of the COVID-19 virus.
Pre Exam Safety Measures for COVID-19

At the entry gate, candidates have to maintain social distancing norms by standing on the roped queues and not moving beyond the permitted area

Candidates have to keep wearing their masks for the entire duration spent at the APICET test centre

Candidates’ temperature will be taken through infrared thermometers and those with a temperature of or above 99.14 degrees will have to sit in an isolated lab

Handwashing facilities will be provided to the candidates and they have to wash their hands with soap and water before entering the test lab

Candidates will be provided with their test lab ID individually after their APICET admit card will be checked

In order to avoid crowding at the test centres, candidates will be allotted staggered time slots, which will be mentioned in the admit card

Candidates will be allowed to take limited items inside the test centre, which include APICET admit card, photo identity card, self-declaration form, hand sanitiser (50 ml), transparent pen and transparent water bottle, masks and gloves
During Exam Safety Measures for COVID-19

Candidates’ attendance registration will take place by checking their admit card and photo id cards from a distance and their photo will be captured through a web camera and candidates will have to stand maintaining a safe distance

The safety measures that need to be followed during the exam will be displayed on the computer screens of the candidates which they have to accept by clicking on the checkbox, otherwise, the test will not proceed

Candidates will be given A 4size sheets of paper for doing rough work. Candidates should sanitise their hands after receiving the rough sheets

Candidates have to adhere to all the safety instructions announced by the invigilators during the test
Post Exam Safety Measures for COVID-19

Before leaving the exam hall, candidates will have to submit their rough sheets and admit cards inside the designated dropbox

Candidates have to leave the exam hall one by one, in an orderly manner to avoid overcrowding
The APICET 2020 answer keys will be released on September 12. Candidates will be able to submit their objections till September 14. The date of declaration of result and final answer key is not announced yet. It is expected that the final answer keys and result will be declared in the last week of September.
