IGNOU introduces AICTE-approved MBA programme

Students interested in IGNOU Admissions for management programmes must note that these programmes have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE and will be available from this academic year itself.

IGNOU MBA Admissions 2021: Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU has introduced some Master of Business Administration, MBA programmes for students. The programme has been launched by the School of Management Studies at IGNOU. Students interested in IGNOU Admissions for management programmes must note that these programmes have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE and will be available from this academic year itself. Students interested in MBA admissions can register themselves at ignou.ac.in. 

The last date to apply for IGNOU MBA programmes is until November 22, 2021. The minimum duration of the programme is 2 years and the maximum is 4 years. The Program is considered to be the flagship program of the University and has been designed to fulfill the needs of the industry.

IGNOU launches MBA Programs: Eligibility Criteria

MBA admission at IGNOU will be offered without an entrance test. Candidates from India and selected foreign countries are eligible to apply for the MBA Programmes. Candidates having bachelor’s degree with at least 50 % aggregate can apply. 

For those applying under the reserved category, must have scored at least 45% marks in their Bachelor's degree.

While applying for MBA in Banking and Finance, applicant must have some work experience of at least 2 years in the banking or financial services sector. After enrolling themselves in the course, the candidate has to complete 28 different courses over a span of 4 semesters. All courses will have 116 credits. The fee for this Program is Rs.58, 000 and a student applying for it, will have to pay Rs.14,000 in Semesters I, II & IV and Rs.16,000 in Semester III.
