COVID-19 Safety Measures at IGNOU OPENMAT 2020 Test Centres
According to NTA, the following safety measures are taken at the test centres as precautions against COVID-19.

Before the exam commencement, seating area, computer monitor, mouse, keyboard, webcam, desk and chair are thoroughly sanitised. Door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons, wheelchairs of physically challenged candidates will be disinfected.

A gap between two seats will be maintained between candidates as per the Government of India guidelines.

Hand sanitiser will be available at entry and inside the exam venue at various places for candidates and centre staff to use

Candidates have to reach the exam centre as per the schedule mentioned in the admit card

They are allowed to carry the following documents and personal items at the centre:
a. Admit Card
b. Government-issued photo identity card
c. Hand sanitiser (50 ml)
d. Transparent water bottle

Candidates have to maintain a space of at least six feet from each other throughout. Queue manager or ropes and floor marks are arranged outside the centre to ensure that social distance norms are maintained.

Candidates have to wash their hands with soap or use hand sanitiser before entering the centre.

Candidates will be offered a fresh three-ply mask before entry. In order to stop chances of any UFM being used in the examination, the candidate is expected to wear the freshly provided mask at the centre. The candidate will be required to remove the mask worn by him/ her from home and use the mask provided at the centre only.

Candidates have to place their admit cards below the barcode readers kept at the entry gate to scan the admit cards. The hall number will also be informed to the candidates at this point.
Safety Measures to be Followed During the Test

Invigilators will keep five A4 size rough sheets at each desk while wearing gloves.

Candidates have to paste passport size photograph and sign on the Attendance sheet after sanitising hands with sanitiser.

Candidates have to drop their admit card and rough sheets inside the dropbox placed inside the test halls

After the completion of the test, candidates have to leave the exam hall one by one in an orderly manner and as per the invigilators’ instructions
It is expected that the IGNOU OPEMNAT 2020 answer keys will be released by the end of this week. Candidates can also file objections against the answer keys if they find any discrepancy in any of the keys. The IGNOU OPENMAT 2020 result is likely to be declared in the first week of October.
