IIM Ahmedabad Dubai campus will begin at Dubai International Academic City, offering a one-year MBA program for professionals and entrepreneurs, alongside executive education options.
Director Professor Bharat Bhasker affirmed that the institution remains committed to its mission of "transformative learning"—now extending beyond India’s borders.
Initial operation of the campus will begin at Dubai International Academic City, offering a one-year MBA program for professionals and entrepreneurs, alongside executive education options. This curriculum emphasizes AI, innovation, and regional business insights, aimed at serving learners across the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond.
An MoU signed in April 2025 with UAE authorities confirmed this international milestone. The plan includes a phased development: the initial campus will transition to a purpose-built, permanent facility expected to be operational by 2029.

IIT Madras launched a campus in Zanzibar in 2023, followed by IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus in 2024. IIT Bombay is also charting overseas territory, with a new campus scheduled in Japan, focusing initially on research programs.
