Startups will be a part of many Do-It-Yourself (DIY) exercises by means of 12 weeks of mentoring, networking and learning.
IIM Udaipur’s Incubation Centre has emphasised on offering some additional benefits to the new cohort comprising assistance in development of new version of products and market testing of products; co-working spaces with 24×7 internet connectivity; access to and acquaintance with equipment and software for MVP development and prototyping; archetype modification; and tailored topics and knowledge resources.
Before this, IIM Udaipur’s Incubation Centre hosted its first successful cohort in 2018, where 18 startups were selected out of 275 applicants following a thorough process of selection. In 2019, the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) – Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, declared IIM Udaipur as a strong Accelerator Program Centre in Rajasthan for the year 2019-2020. Across India, only nine incubation centres are listed, out of which IIMU’s Accelerator Program Centre was one.
