IIM-Udaipur & Quikr ink MoU to impart knowledge on digital businesses
IIM Udaipur - Indian Institute of Management (IIMU), recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with online classifieds network company Quikr to empower and equip future talent with digital business knowledge and enlighten them as to how digital technologies are transforming businesses around the world.
Under this collaboration, IIMU has also launched a one-year MBA in Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) that will welcome participants to Quikr's real-world industry coverage. IIMU will facilitate student mentorship by organising knowledge-based workshops on trend-setting digital technologies, incorporating Quikr feedback from time to time to the curriculum structure and finding access to Quikr case studies and research Content to fine-tune their skills. Students of the IIMU and Quikr will co-create expertise in the form of research papers, white papers and an industry-level platform to conduct collaborative research in the fields of mutual interest. In order to expose students to real-world problems in the digital world, Quikr will also provide short-term assignments for IIMU students.
India is one of the largest and fastest-growing markets towards digitisation. With over half a billion internet subscribers, this digital era has been widely embraced by Indian customers. In addition, programmes such as Digital India and Skill India are driving the digital revolution of the country further. With this tie-up, IIMU will improve the ability of its students to be a part of this revolution by making them into the first set of managers in the country who are explicitly trained in the world of digital business by Quikr.

and start-ups. Therefore, the program stresses the sensitivity and accessibility of information that affect current practices and create new management problems that require new thinking and leadership.”

Our collaboration gives students the opportunity to gain a real-time understanding of how online companies like Quikr work in this brave new world. Getting these students ready to play management roles in virtual enterprises, tech-focused positions in traditional businesses, or digital entrepreneurs on their own. As a member of the board of IIM Udaipur and a member of the advisory board for this MBA program, I will extend my full support to help IIMU tackle this major industry need.”
A full-time one-year residential programme is the Virtual Enterprise Management Program. The first batch begins in 2020. Interested applicants can apply online via the website of IIM Udaipur.

The top recruiting sector during IIM Udaipur summer placements for the batch of 2024-26 was BFSI. It was followed by FMCG in terms of most number of offers. The highest percentage of internship roles were offered in Sales & Marketing domain.

During MBA GSCM placements 2025, 22 offers were accepted in the Consulting sector. In Logistics sector, 8 offers were accepted whereas 7 and 4 offers were accepted in IT and Pharmaceutical sectors. In other sectors, less than 4 offers were accepted in 2025.

MBA DEM placements at IIM Udaipur are good. The highest package offered in 2025 was 32.71 LPA and the lowest package stood at 11 LPA. All 53 students that participated were placed during the placement drive 2025.
