Management students must note that according to the official notice, the varsity has decided to reopen campus for final year MBA scholars from September 27, i.e. Phase 4.

JNU Reopening: Amid the reopening of various educational institutions and colleges, Jawaharlal Nehru University has also released an official notice regarding the reopening of its campus for students of various departments. Considering the health and safety of the students and staff members, the University will reopen campus in a phased manner. Management students must note that according to the official notice, the varsity has decided to reopen campus for final year MBA scholars from September 27, i.e. Phase 4. Both hosteller and day scholars will be allowed on the campus.

The official notice released by JNU reads, β€œIn continuation to the Government of Delhi. Delhi Disaster Management Authority Order no. F.60/DDMA/COVI-19/2021/466 dated 15.09.2021 regarding the re-opening of educational institutes with a maximum of 50% of the seating capacity subject to strict compliance of SOPs notified by DDMA. The university has decided phase-3&4 reopening of the campus.”

In order to avoid the COVID-19 virus spread amid the reopening, students and teachers have been directed to wear masks, use sanitizers, avoid gathering and follow social distancing. All the students and teachers have to follow COVID-19 precautionary laid down by the government against the novel coronavirus spread.

Meanwhile, the varsity is recalling all PhD scholars, both hostellers and day scholars to the campus. Warning the students not adhering to the COVID-19 protocols, the varsity further states, β€œAny person found violating the aforesaid instructions, shall be liable to be proceeded against as per the provision of Section 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act, 2005, Section 188 of IPC and other applicable laws.
