K J Somaiya Institute of Management (KJSIM) has welcomed its new batch of 676 students for academic year 2025–2027 across its MBA, MBA in Healthcare Management and MBA in Sports Management programmes.
This year’s batch represent students from 22 states of India, with majority coming from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat and increase in enrolment from Northeast and Southern India. Incoming batch comprises 56% male and 44% female students, reflecting a balanced gender representation across programmes.
Academically, this batch represents a mix of backgrounds, including commerce, management, engineering, arts, and pure sciences. While 72% of students are fresh graduates, 28% come with prior industry experience, bringing different perspectives and practical insights to classroom.
This year’s induction programme ‘Parivartan’ built on two foundational pillars, Nurturing Potential and Student Progression Index. This helps students take ownership of their development from very beginning. New students took psychometric assessments to identify their strengths and areas for growth. KJSIM orientation programme also included modules on social media conduct, deep reflective learning through curated reading resources, team-building activities, and yoga.
