Karnataka PGCET 2020 MBA entrance test has been conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on October 14. Know the details of the test here.

Karnataka PGCET 2020 Conducted on October 14

Karnataka PGCET 2020 for the MBA admission to around 178 institutes across Karnataka has been conducted today, i.e. October 14. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has conducted the exam for approximately 30,000 candidates in 14 cities across the state. The two-hour duration test was scheduled from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Owing to the pandemic situation, the Karnataka PGCET 2020 was conducted amid proper safety protocols.

Let us take a look at the exam pattern of Karnataka PGCET MBA 2020.

Karnataka PGCET 2020 Exam Pattern

Karnataka PGCET is a paper-pencil based test of two-hours duration, carrying 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from four sections. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking scheme for a wrong answer or unattempted questions. The structure of the test is given in the table below.

Candidates had to carry their Karnataka PGCET 2020 admit card along with a valid photo identity card in order to be allowed admission inside the exam hall. No personal items were allowed to be carried inside the exam centre apart from the following:

  • Mask

  • Gloves

  • Hand sanitizer (50 ml)

  • Personal transparent water bottle

  • Permitted stationery items

KEA has not announced the dates for the upcoming events of the Karnataka PGCET 2020 exam such as answer keys, result and counselling. It is expected that the answer keys will be released within a couple of weeks and the result will be declared in the first week of November, to be followed by the counselling process.

On account of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exam schedule was changed a number of times before finally being conducted on October 14.
