NMAT 2020 Additional Phase Exam Begins

The NMAT 2020 Additional Exam has commenced from today, i.e. February 2, 2021. The week-long exam will be conducted till February 8. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the conducting body of the exam is conducting the test again for those candidates who could not appear for the exam in the original schedule, which was November 4 to January 30. Only those candidates, who did not exhaust all three attempts for NMAT were eligible to take the test in this additional phase.

The application process for the NMAT 2020 additional phase was conducted from January 18 to January 31. The application fee was Rs 2,300. Although the NMAT 2020 was conducted in India as well as four international cities, for the additional phase, the exam is being conducted only in 46 cities across India. Candidates had the option to choose to take the test either from the test centres or from their home in an online proctored mode. However, the slots for online proctored test became full few days prior to the last date of application.

Candidates are allowed to take only one attempt in the NMAT 2020 additional phase. However, they had the option to reschedule their test date and slot as per the availability. The exam pattern of the additional phase will be the same as the NMAT 2020 exam pattern, which had undergone several changes this year.
