There are a total of 379 students in the core PGDM programme, 39 in the PGDM-Marketing programme, 60 in the PGDM-BKFS programme and the PGDM-HRM programme has 29 students.

TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) commenced the academic year for the batch 2021-23 by admitting 501 students to different programmes. The programmes commenced by the management institute include 39th batch of PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management), the eighth batch of PGDM Banking and Financial Services (BKFS), the fourth batch of PGDM Human Resources (HRM), and the third batch of PGDM Marketing.

There are a total of 379 students in the core PGDM programme, 39 in the PGDM-Marketing programme, 60 in the PGDM-BKFS programme and the PGDM-HRM programme has 29 students.

As informed by the Admissions Chair of TAPMI, Kedar Joshi, the batch of 501 students with an average CAT/XAT scores at 87.35 percentile are from diverse educational backgrounds, representing 22 states and union territories. Out of the total, 42 per cent are non-engineers and 36 per cent of the batch of 2021-23 are females.

The institute started the online sessions of the batch of 2021-23 from August 12. According to TAPMI, β€œclassrooms equipped with 14 interactive digital panels, e-books on kindle platforms, and unlimited cloud space are enabling it to seamlessly transition to new ways of teaching and learning.”

Welcoming the new batch, Madhu Veeraraghavan, Director of TAPMI, mentioned β€œhow seamlessly TAPMI is transitioning to new ways of learning. The academic year for the batch of 2021-23 commenced on August 9, 10 and 11. The first day of induction concluded with the presentation on programme highlights of each programme by respective programme heads.”

The batch got introduced to the faculty members by respective area chairs on the second day of induction. Later the batch attended a presentation on quality and accreditations, corporate engagement, alumni connect, library and IT facilities, community engagement, Bloomberg championship programmes, and various committees at TAPMI by the respective chairs, activity heads and committee conveners. During the day, the director, deans and the faculty members also addressed the concerns and questions raised by the new batch.
