NEET 2026 Exam

Amid growing concern over NEET paper leak 2026 and NTA's decision to cancel NEET UG 2026 exam, a recent survey conducted by Shiksha has highlighted students' demand for a change NEET 2026 exam mode. According to the survey, 46 per cent of students believe that NEET UG exam should be in online mode to reduce risk of NEET 2026 paper leaks. The online computer-based mode like JEE Main will improve the transparency of the exam and no need for NEET reexam would occur.

NTA has cancelled the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) on May 12, 2026 amid expected result announcement. The decision followed alleged NEET paper leak 2026. NTA has highlighted that sanctity of the examination was compromised. Over 22 Lakh students and parents have raised concerns regarding NTA's decision to conduct NEET 2026 in pen-and-paper mode, whereas other NTA exam like JEE Main & CUET is conducted in CBT mode. The repeated controversies have sparked debates on whether NEET UG should be conducted in online CBT mode or not.

Paper Leak Concerns Troubles StudentsΒ 

The NEET UG paper leak news has created stress among students. Resultedly, 52% students have said that they are okay if the paper is offline, but the examination authorities should ensure tighter security and no scope of NEET paper leaks.
