Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 selection list for MBBS and BDS courses has been released on August 31, 2024. As many as 36,699 candidates have been included in the list. The institute reporting process will be conducted from September 1 to September 5, 2024, 5.30 PM.

Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 selection list for MBBS and BDS courses has been released on August 31, 2024. As many as 36,699 candidates have been included in the list. However, some candidates could not be allotted seats due to unavailability of their choices.

The selection letter is also available for download on the official website of Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling. The institute reporting process will be conducted from September 1 to September 5, 2024, 5.30 PM.

How to Download Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling Round 1 Selection Letter

Candidates will have to download the selection letter for Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling by following the below steps:

  • Visit the official website of Maharashtra NEET Counselling
  • Click on the link โ€˜Download Selection Letterโ€™ under the News section
  • Enter the necessary details such as Degree type, Course, CET CAP Application Number, NEET Roll Number, All India Rank and Captcha
  • Click on Show Selection Letter
  • Download and take multiple printouts

Candidates have to carry all original documents including the selection letter and pay the admission fee through Demand Draft/Cheque at the allotted institute for the reporting and admission confirmation process.

Q: ย  Who conducts Maharashtra NEET counselling?
A:

Maharashtra NEET counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The state counselling authority for Maharashtra conducts the admission process for various medical and paramedical courses offered in the state under the 85 per cent State Quota seats. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling. 

Q: ย  When will Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 counselling be conducted?
A:

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 counselling has begun on July 23, 2025, with the registration process. The seat allotment result was declared on August 13, 2025, and the institute reporting process was conducted from August 14 to August 22, 2025. Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling Round 2 for Group A, or MBBS and BDS courses, is scheduled from September 19 to September 29, 2025. The Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling for AYUSH and allied courses began on September 1, 2025. The dates for the first two rounds of these courses will conclude on October 11, 2025. 

Q: ย  What is the minimum rank required to get an MBBS seat through Maharashtra NEET counselling?
A:

A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 50,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good college. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data. The actual cutoff data or rank will be relesed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) after the conclusion of the counselling process for Maharashtra NEET.
