NEET 2021 dates to be out this week says NTA official
NEET 2021 dates are expected to be out by this week and the national level entrance exam will be conducted only once a year, confirmed NTA Director-General.
NEET 2021 dates will be announced this week and the medical entrance exam will be conducted only once, said Director-General of the National Testing Agency (NTA), Vineet Joshi.
The health ministry has earlier given its nod to conduct the entrance exam twice a year but no further official announcements were made by the authorities and stakeholders. Also, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal βNishankβ had said the government was exploring the possibility of holding the exam multiple times in the year.

Though the NTA can announce NEET dates 2021 anytime this week, below are the tentative dates NEET 2021 aspirants can refer to along with the salient feature of each event and its date:

After the announcement of the exam schedule cum NEET dates 2021, NTA will release the application forms for NEET 2021 which will enable the aspirants to apply for the national level medical entrance test.
NEET exam is the only entrance exam in India that facilitates admission to MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses at the UG level in the country. For PG level courses National Board of Examination (NBE) is the conducting body.
Earlier, NTA Director-General, Vineet Joshi has given clarity on why there is a delay in the announcement of NEET 2021 Dates on February 23, 2021, and had said that βthere are a total of 28 boards, two ministries, and NTA involved in the brainstorming process, so the process is taking timeβ.
NEET aspirants were also seeking clarity in term of the NEET 2021 syllabus and the NTA and constitute bodies have provided the clarity and had said that the medical entrance test will be held as per the syllabus structured by the NTA irrespective of the reduction in the board exam syllabus.
