NEET 2023 Exam Day Live Updates
NEET 2023 exam will be held today, May 7, from 2 PM to 4 PM. Over 20 lakh candidates are all set to appear for the exam from 499 cities across India and abroad. As per the latest news, NEET UG 2023 is not taking place in the centres of Manipur today due to ongoing violence. NTA will announce the dates for Manipur candidates soon.
Candidates have to report to their respective NEET 2023 centres at least an hour before the exam. Those wearing customary attire will have to report at 12.30 PM for proper frisking. No candidate will be allowed entry after 1.30 PM.
NEET 2023 exam will be held in a paper-pencil-based mode for a duration of 200 minutes. The question paper will consist of 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Out of this, candidates will have to attempt 180 questions. Each question carries four marks and there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.

NEET 2023 Dress Code
The NEET dress code has been laid down by NTA. Owing to the highly competitive exam and to avoid candidates from following any unfair means. Based on the dress code, candidates will have to follow the guidelines given below:

Light-coloured clothes with long sleeves are not permitted.

Slippers, and sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted.

Shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons will not be permitted.

NEET 2023 Exam Rescheduled in Manipur
In the wake of the law and order situation in Manipur, NTA has rescheduled the exam in two centres of the state. As many as 5,751 candidates have registered for the exam from this state. NTA will issue a fresh NEET 2023 exam date for them.

NEET 2023 exam will start at 2 PM (Indian Standard Time) across all centres. The 200-minute duration test will be over at 5.20 PM. There will not be any break in between.
