NEET SS 2025 Exam on November 7-8; NBE Releases Tentative Schedule

The NEET SS 2025 exam will be held on November 7 to November 8, 2025. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the tentative exam date for NEET SS 2025, along with some other postgraduate medical entrance exams in an official notification. Apart from the exam date, no other schedule, such as the application process, admit card release, etc., has been announced.
Announcing the schedule, NBEMS has stated, “Please note that the above schedule of forthcoming examinations is purely tentative. The exact dates of exams will be indicated in the Information Bulletin, which will be notified on the NBEMS website in due course.”

It is expected that the NEET SS 2025 official notification and application form will be released by NBE by the fourth week of August 2025.
There are a total of 15 groups or super speciality subjects, which are scheduled within these two days and four shifts of the NEET SS exam. Candidates have to select the papers during the NEET SS application process, which will be conducted tentatively for a duration of three weeks. It is expected that the NEET SS 2025 exam pattern will remain the same as last year, wherein NBEMS had introduced time-bound sections in the computer-based test. The NEET SS syllabus includes the curriculum for MD/MS courses or postgraduate medical education.
NEET SS exam is the gateway to admission to DM, MCh and DNB courses offered across medical institutes in India.
