NEET UG counselling 2024 Round 2 provisional result has been declared on September 19, 2024. The final result will be declared tomorrow, September 20, 2024. Candidates will be able to report against any discrepancy in the provisional result till September 20, 10 AM through email at mccresultquery@gmail.com.
The seat allotment status of 33,890 candidates for the first two rounds have been displayed in the NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 result. As many as 11,170 candidates have been freshly allotted seats. On the other hand, 1,211 candidates’ seats have been upgraded in Round 2 of NEET counselling 2024. Rest of the candidates have not opted for upgradation or fill fresh choices.

The institute reporting process is scheduled to be conducted from September 20 to September 27, 2024. The NEET 2024 counselling Round 3 will commence on October 3, 2024.
The NEET UG 2024 counselling Round 2 dates were revised on account of the revision of the seat matrix. Originally, the date of seat allotment result declaration was September 13, but was postponed by a week. The registration and choice filling windows were reopened on September 13 and closed on September 16.
In this round, initially 614 new seats were added, after which the addition of 225 new seats and withdrawal of 13 seats was announced.

The NEET counselling registration fee varies for different candidate categories. For the AIQ seats and Central Universities, the fee for the General category candidates is INR 1,000 and for the SC, ST, OBC and PwD category candidates, the fee is INR 500. For participating in the NEET counselling process for Deemed Universities, the registration fee for all category candidates is INR 5,000. The registration fee is non-refundable. On the other hand, candidates will have to pay the tuition fee which is refundable. The amount for the General category candidates for the AIQ seats and Central Universities is INR 10,000. For the reserved category candidates, the amount is INR 5,000. For Deemed Universities, the tuition fee to be paid by all category candidates is INR 2,00,000. Those who would not be allotted a seat after the NEET counselling process will be refunded the tuition fee after the conclusion of the counselling rounds.
