Tripura NEET 2024 Counselling Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria given below to be able to participate in the Tripura NEET 2024 counselling process.
- The candidate must have qualified for NEET 2024
- They must be a permanent resident of the state
- The candidate or his/her parent should have resided in the state of Tripura for a period of at least 10 years prior to the date of release of the application form
- Children of All India Service officers born in the Tripura cadre or employees of the Tripura state government posted out of the state can also apply for Tripura MBBS counselling
- Candidates who have completed class 12 from an institute in Tripura and their parent is currently working with the Tripura/Central Government are also eligible
- Children of ex-servicemen/defence personnel who have resided in the state of Tripura for at least 5 years prior to the date of release of the application form can also apply for the counselling of Tripura NEET.
How to Register for Tripura NEET 2024 Counselling
Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to register for the Tripura NEET 2024 counselling process.
- Visit the official website of Tripura NEET 2024 counselling – dmeonline.tripura.gov.in
- Under the ‘New User Registration’ select the course, ‘Admission in the UG Course’
- Enter the NEET Roll Number and NEET Application Number
- Click on Get Details
- Enter the mandatory details, upload the requisite documents and pay the fees through Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking

The mandatory security deposit has to be paid through Demand Draft or bank deposit. The DD has to be made in favour of the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura from any nationalised bank, preferably the State Bank of India. The DD or the bank receipt has to be submitted to the office of the Director of Medical Education, Birdurkarta Chowmohani, Agartala.
The Tripura NEET 2024 merit list will be released on August 23, 2024. The choice filling and locking rounds will be conducted from August 23 to August 27, 2024. The seat allotment result of Tripura NEET 2024 counselling will be declared on August 29, 2024.

For Tripura NEET counselling document verification, candidates will have to visit the allotted institutes for document verification and admission fee payment. This will confirm the admission process. DME Tripura will specify the venue for the document verification or institute reporting process after the seat allotment result is declared for each round. They will either have to report to the allotted institutes, or have to visit the venue mentioned by the counselling authority for Tripura NEET counselling.
Yes, it is mandatory to carry the original documents at the institute reporting process of the Tripura NEET UG counselling process. Although candidates can carry the photocopies as a backup, but during document verification, or the institute reporting process, they will have to present the original documents.
