NEET 2021 Counselling Round 1 Institute Reporting Begins

After the declaration of the NEET 2021 Round seat allotment result, the reporting process to institutes has started on February 3, 10 am onwards. The institute reporting process for candidates who have been allotted a seat in the Round 1 will have to report to the institutes in physical or online mode. Although originally the date for institute reporting commencement was February 2, it was postponed by MCC on account of the withdrawal of the NEET 2021 counselling Round 1 result. The facility to download fresh Provisional Allotment Letter has also started at 10 am on February 3. Candidates may note that the previously issued seat allotment result and Provisional Allotment letter stand null and void.

MCC has stated, “Candidates are requested to proceed for Physical/ Online Reporting (E-Joining) to the allotted college as per schedule after downloading their Provisional Allotment Letters from MCC website.”

How to Participate in Institute Reporting

Candidates need to follow the steps given below to participate in the online institute reporting process:

  • Visit the official NEET 2021 counselling website – mcc.nic.in

  • Click on the ‘Online Registration’ tab

  • Login with registration credentials

  • Click on the tab indicating online reporting

  • Upload the documents and follow other instructions

MCC also states, Candidates can contact their allotted college directly for queries related to documents to be submitted at the time of Physical/ Online Reporting. Also, candidates should confirm Admission Schedule from the allotted college before proceeding for Reporting along with all required original documents.”

Documents Required for Institute Reporting

The following documents are required for the institute reporting process:

  • NEET admit card 2021

  • NEET result 2021 or rank letter

  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate

  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificate

  • Valid, non-expired and government-issued photo ID proof

  • Six to eight passport-sized photographs (preferably the same as the one submitted with the NEET 2021 application form)

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Disability Certificate (if applicable)

  • Provisional allotment letter

For NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National candidates, the following documents are required:

  • Passport copy of sponsorer, embassy certificate

  • Sponsorship affidavit (stating that the sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of the study)

  • Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)

The institute reporting process for Round 1 will conclude on February 7 at 5 pm. Candidates who have not been allotted a seat, or wish to upgrade, have to register for Round 2, which will be conducted from February 9 to February 14.
