Students allegedly argued that around 60 per cent of the questions in the AIIMS NORCET exam 2025 were circulating on social media platforms prior to the commencement of the examination.
The All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi's Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) exam has once again come under the allegations of paper leak and cheating in the examination. The AIIMS NORCET exam 2025 for the recruitment of Nursing Officers has allegedly come under the cloud of allegations of paper leak by several aspirants who appeared in the examination. As a part of the allegation, a joint working committee of nursing associations has formally written a letter to AIIMS Director Dr M Srinivas, highlighting the issues related to the NORCET examination and sufferings of the students.
Students have highlighted that around 60% of the questions asked in the recruitment examination have been circulating on social media platforms before the commencement of the examination.
“Around 60 per cent of the questions that came in the entrance test were already circulating on social media,” a student allegedly reported.
The AIIMS NORCET exam had earlier become a point of debate in the year 2023, where similar allegations led to a Central Bureau of Investigation probe and several arrests of culprits involved in the malpractice of the All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi's Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET), as reported by The New Indian Express.
Reportedly, a joint working committee of nursing associations has approached the AIIMS Director, Dr M Srinivas, through a formal letter highlighting the irregularities in the AIIMS NORCET examination. Further, candidates at the exam centres have reported that, along with the technical disruptions, delays in the examination and poor management of the examination have stressed them in an already high-pressure test.
