WB ANM GNM Nursing 2026: Result (Declared), Final Answer Key, Cutoff, Counselling, Dates

West Bengal Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery and General Nurse & Midwifery Entrance Examination (West Bengal ANM GNM) is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) across the state to select candidates for both courses.

The WBJEEB declared the WB ANM GNM Result 2026 in the form of a Rank Card. The candidates can download their rank card with their application/registration number and password. The WB ANM GNM 2026 result can be checked by following the instructions mentioned below:

The WBJEEB released the provisional answer key on its portal. The candidates can check their answers from the answer key and calculate their score. The candidates were allowed to send objections against the incorrect answers till July 11.

The candidates can download their WB ANM GNM 2026 provisional answer key in the following manner:

• The West Bengal ANM GNM 2026 Answer Key link will appear on screen
• Click on the link
• Log in with the application number and password
• Download the WB ANM GNM Model Answer Key

The Board will release the West Bengal ANM GNM 2026 final Answer key after considering the objections received from the candidates. In addition, the exam conducting body will release the OMR and images of the candidates' individual response sheets on the portal.  

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will release the category-wise cutoff after each round of Counselling. The West Bengal ANM GNM 2026 Counselling will be conducted online after the result is declared.

The WB ANM GNM 2026 Counselling is expected to start in August/September. The candidates who clear the WB ANM GNM exam will be called for counselling based on their choices filled in the application form. During the Counselling, the authorised personnel will check all the documents of the candidates related to age, educational qualification, category certificates and any other relaxation claimed by the candidate. The counselling of WB ANM/GNM will be conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).

2. Click on the link and register for counselling.
3. Enter the basic details and upload the documents.
4. Pay the counselling registration fees of WB ANM/GNM 2026

After the release of the Round 1 merit list, the candidates will be called for document verification and the admission process at the allotted training institution.

WB ANM GNM 2026 online application link was available online at https://wbjeeb.in/. The candidates had to read the WB ANM GNM 2026 information bulletin to know all the eligibility conditions before filling the applications. The last date to apply for the WB ANM GNM exam was April 22, 2026.

West Bengal ANM GNM Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are advised to read all the eligibility conditions given in the information bulletin. The essential WB ANM GNM 2026 eligibility conditions are given below:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 40% of the maximum marks from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other recognised Council/Board.
• The candidate must be at least 17 years old on December 31, 2026. The upper age limit was removed.
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of the West Bengal District and an Indian national.
• The applicant must be able to read, write, and speak Bengali or Nepali fluently.

The Application Correction facility was available from April 24 to 26.

Important Highlights

The candidates should note that the Board changed the age criteria this year. As per the new criteria, anyone above 17 years of age was eligible to apply for the exam. The candidates were required to register for the exam before applying.

• Candidates must prepare a strong password using a security question and answer after supplying the above information.

The candidates should note that mentioning the application number and registration number will be mandatory in any communication with the Board.

WB ANM GNM 2026 Application Fee

The candidates were required to pay the application fee as per their category as mentioned below:

• INR 400/- for General/EWS candidates plus service charges as applicable 
• INR 300/- for SC/ST/OBC-A or B /Orphan candidates plus service charges as applicable.

The WBJEEB conducted the exam offline on June 14. The Board release the WB ANM GNM 2026 admit card on June 4.

The candidates downloaded their WB ANM GNM 2026 admit card in the following manner:

• Opened https://wbjeeb.nic.in/anm-gnm/

• Clicked on WB ANM/GNM Nursing admit card link floating in the middle

• A new window appeared, selected the West Bengal ANM GNM in the exam list

• Mentioned login credentials - application number, date of birth, and security pin. 

• Press submitted, the WB ANM/GNM hall ticket 2026 was displayed on the screen.

• Took a printout of the admit card of WB ANM/GNM Nursing 2026.
