West Bengal ANM Application 2026: Last Date & Fees & How to Apply

The Board notified conditions to apply online; these conditions were related to the application filling process, such as the candidate require a valid mobile number and email id for the application number. They should not fill multiple applications for the exam. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, in cooperation with the Indian Nursing Council, set qualifying requirements for the West Bengal ANM GNM Nursing programme (INC). The following is a list of the requirements for WB ANM 2026:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 40% of the maximum marks from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other recognised Council/Board.
• The candidate must be at least 17 years old on December 31, 2026. The upper age limit was removed.
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of the West Bengal District and an Indian national.
• The applicant must be able to read, write, and speak Bengali or Nepali fluently.

Students majoring in Vocational Agriculture or Vocational Home Science are also eligible to apply.

WB ANM GNM registration window was closed on April 24. The application form was available online at WBJEEB website. Candidates had to fill registration form first to generate the application number. After it, they could login with it and fill WB ANM GNM 2026 application form.

The process to fill form is mentioned below.

• Go to wbjeeb.in
• Click on WB ANM GNM registration form link.
• Fill the personal details such as name, address, and contact information to register. Candidates must give information about their nationality and input their parents' or guardians' names. They will then provide their current and permanent addresses by completing the following information: State, District, Pin, Address, Post Office, and Police Station, in the registration form and submit it.
• WB ANM GNM 2026 Application Number was generated.

The candidates can use this application number and password to login for filling the application form.

WB ANM GNM application correction was closed on April 26. The application form for WB ANM & GNM 2026 entrance test was accepted online from March 25 to April 22, 2026. The application link was available on the website wbjeeb.in/anm-gnm/. Candidates had to check the West Bengal ANM GNM information bulletin to know about the eligibility criteria, how to fill the application form, documents required, etc. Candidates who have successfully applied for WB ANM & GNM 2026 can appear for the entrance test. 

The Board prescribe different application fee for different categories. As per the official WB ANM GNM information bulletin, the prescribed application fee is given below:

• INR 400/- General/EWS candidates plus service charges as applicable, and,
• INR 300/- for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/Orphan candidates plus service charges as applicable.

The candidates need to submit the application fee online only through Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card. Candidates should note that once the WB ANM GNM application fee was non-refundable. 

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board started WB ANM GNM application correction facility from April 24. The form correction portal was open till April 26, 2026. Candidates can not change their personal details. These details are-

• Name
• Father's name
• Mother's name,
• Domicile and
• Date of birth 

The rest of the details can be edited by the candidates during the period of correction.
