WB ANM/GNM Counselling 2025: Dates, Schedule, Fees & Process

The WBJEEB will notify the West Bengal ANM GNM Counselling dates on its portal - wbjeeb.in/anm-gnm. The candidates will get the latest information about the Counselling process on this page. The WBJEEB is expected to start the Counselling process in the first week of July.

Students must check the points before appearing in WB ANM/GNM counselling 2026: 

•  The WB ANM/GNM 2026 registration will be mandatory for e-counselling and admission. A candidate not registered within the pre-declared period of registration will not be considered for allotment of any seat in any round under any circumstances.
•  The WB ANM/GNM registration fee for the e-counselling is INR 500, except for the Mop-up round, which is not refundable under any circumstances.
• Female students are eligible for admission in GNM courses except for Male institutes and ANM courses. 
• Only male candidates are eligible for admission in GNM courses in Male institutes. 

Applicants must follow the procedure while doing the WB ANM/GNM counseling process. 

1. WB ANM/GNM Registration: Applicants are advised to do the registration by filling in their details, academic details, application number, roll number, and marks obtained in class 12 as well as in the English subject. 

2. WB ANM/GNM Choice Filling: Applicants can view all choices of institutes and courses available to him/her according to the eligibility criteria based on the inputs provided. After selecting institutes/courses, the candidates can arrange his/her choices in order of their priority. 

3. West Bengal ANM/GNM Choice Locking: Candidate must lock their choices before the due date. Candidates can also take a printout of their locked choices. If a candidate fails to lock their choices within the time, their last saved choices will be considered final and will be locked automatically.  

4. WB ANM/GNM Seat Allotment: Allotment of the 1st round was declared on the official website. The allotment was done based on the inputs provided by the candidate. If at any stage it is found by the concerned authority that the applicant is not eligible for the allotment, his/her allotment/ admission shall be treated as CANCELED. After this, candidates must pay a seat acceptance fee of INR 1,000 and download the allotment letter.

5. West Bengal ANM/GNM Document Verification: Candidates are advised to personally report to the institute (where they have been allotted a seat) within the time, carrying printed copies of their allotment letters and all academic and other documents for physical verification of documents by the institute.

The West Bengal ANM/GNM 2025 mop-up round counselling result was released on December 11, 2025, by the conducting body, WBJEEB. The result was declared on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in/anm-gnm/ at the candidate login. After the result declaration, the institute reporting was opened from December 11, 2025, to December 16, 2025. The last date to make the fee payment to confirm the seat was December 16, 2025. Candidates must keep the necessary documents ready for the purpose of verification at the time of admission.

In case the seats remain vacant, then an additional mop-up round might be organised to fill the seats. Then the seat matrix will be published again to start a fresh round of counselling. However, it is expected that this is the last round of counselling, post which the classes will begin for the ANM/GNM course. 

 The complete schedule for the WB ANM/GNM Counselling 2025 was released on the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in by the counselling conducting body, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. The counselling registration and choice filling and locking were conducted till December 9, 2025. Earlier, the WBJEEB released the Round 2 result on November 27, 2025.

The counselling and admission of WB ANM/GNM 2025 were done based on GMR only. Students who mentioned YES in their results are eligible to appear for the counselling. The WB ANM/GNM counselling is for admission in the institutes and courses as mentioned in the approved seat matrix received from the Dept. of H&FW, Govt. of West Bengal, and published on the official website. 

Applicants are advised to check the list of important documents before appearing in the counselling. Along with the list of documents, it has also mentioned which category candidates need to refer to which important documents.
