No, there is no negative marking in the Bihar STET 2025 exam. Candidates can attempt all the questions.

The Bihar STET result 2025 will be prepared through the normalisation method as the exam is held in several shifts on multiple days. The STET normalised scores 2025 will be the basis for the declaration of result. The raw scores of candidates will not be taken into account to decide the qualification status. For instance, if the normalised score is 74.5 for a candidate belonging to the general category, then he or she will be declared fail in the exam.

The validity of Bihar STET is lifetime. Candidates who qualify the Bihar STET exam will be provided with the eligibility certificate so that they can apply for the teacher recruitment in Bihar schools for Classes 9-10 or Classes 11-12 or both. • Candidates have to reach the exam centre well in advance. It is advisable to visit the exam, centre one day before to get familiar with the location. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre 10 minutes after the exam starts
• A few documents must be carried on the day of the exam, such as a printed copy of the admit card, government ID card, passport-size photographs, and blue or black ballpen
• A few items are not allowed to be carried inside exam halls, such as sunglasses, calculators, electronic devices, and all papers
• Candidates will not be given extra time to reach late at the exam centre

The Bihar STET exam pattern 2025 is different for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Bihar STET Paper 1 is conducted for the Secondary level and Paper 2 is conducted for the Higher Secondary level. Each paper comprises a total of 150 MCQs of one mark each. There is no negative marking in the exam. Candidates are allotted two hours and thirty minutes to attempt each paper.
