National Testing Agency (NTA) may soon release the CSIR NET 2021 notification to conduct the examination for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) to candidates for appointment as lecturers in Indian universities and colleges. It is likely that the CSIR UGC NET 2021 dates will be announced by August 2021.
Earlier, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) HRDG announced that the CSIR NET exam is unlikely to be held in the month of July 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation in India. The announcement regarding this was made by the CSIR HRDG on its official Twitter handle.
When will the CSIR NET exam be held in 2021?
The CSIR NET exam is likely to be held in October 2021. The CSIR HRDG had earlier announced that the CSIR NET exam date 2021 will be released two months prior to the exam. The NTA may announce the date after analysing the pandemic situation in India.
What is the CSIR NET Exam?
The CSIR NET is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the selection of candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The CSIR NET exam is conducted in the subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology only. The rest subject areas are covered through the UGC NET examination.
