RRB Group D application dates revised, Registration to Begin from January 31
The RRB Group D application form window will remain open till March 2, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete registration before the last date to avoid technical issues.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has revised registration dates for RRB Group D application form 2026 for Level-1 posts in Indian Railways. Candidates will be able to apply online from January 31, 2026 on official RRB application website.
This recruitment process is being conducted to fill around 22,000 Group D vacancies in different railway zones. Application window will remain open till March 2, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete registration before last date to avoid technical issues.

Eligibility for RRB Group D 2026
- Qualification: Class 10 pass or ITI from a recognised board or institute.
- Age limit: 18 to 33 years
Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
How to Apply for RRB Group D 2026
Candidates can apply online by following these:
- Go to official RRB application website.
- Complete one-time registration.
- Log in and fill Group D application form.
- Upload required documents.
- Pay application fee.
- Submit form and save confirmation page.
RRB Group D selection process will includes Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET), verification of document and medical test of candidates.
Candidates should keep checking official RRB website for updates on exam dates, city intimation slips and admit cards.
In RRB Group D registration form, candidates are required to enter basic details. The hard copy of the application form is not sent to candidates by post. Only online applications are accepted for the exam. Fee is paid online.
Yes, candidates can change their states in the RRB Group D exam. This can be done by first choosing 'Application Modification' which is available in the home page of the registration portal. After candidates have chosen the preferred state, they need to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 100 for modifying the application. Once candidates have successfully paid the application fee they can make the necessary changes and then submit it. Please note that candidates will not be able to edit your registration number, email id, mobile number, and your zone. Candidates are required to fill the application form online. The application fee is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class is INR 250.

The application fees for RRB Group D exam are INR 500 for all candidates except the fee concession categories. For PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/Economically Backward Class, the application fees are INR 250. The application fee can be paid online. On appearing in CBT, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given full refund of application fee. Those belonging to unreserved categories are given partial refund of application fee. RRB Group D application fee can be paid online using Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/UPI.
