RRB NTPC 2020 pre-bid meeting for exam conducting agency will be conducted through video conferencing. The exam dates will be conducted after the exam conducting agency is finalised.

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are yet to finalise the Exam Conducting Authority (ECA). The pre-bid meeting and opening date of bids were deferred several times as a precautionary measures to contain the spread of novel coronavirus and due to the extension of the lockdown period.

According to an official notice released recently, the pre-bid conference for RRB NTPC which is scheduled to be held at RRB Chennai’s office and is likely to conducted through video conferencing due to the prevalent situation.

RRB NTPC 2020 recruitment is conducted for selection to non-technical popular categories (NTPC) such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice and Station Master posts. 

A total of 1,26,30,885 RRB NTPC applications were received for the recruitment process. RRB NTPC exam was scheduled to be held last year, however, it has been cancelled due to the non-finalisation of ECA.

RRB NTPC exam will be conducted in multiple stages such as Computer Based Tests, Computer Based Aptitude/Typing Skill Test, Document Verification/Medical Examination.
