SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam: Exam Reportedly Cancelled at Jammu, Delhi, Gurugram; Aspirants flag issues at Kanpur centre
As per the notices being shared on social media platforms, the SSC CGL Tier- 1 exam which have been cancelled today, have been rescheduled to Sept 26.
Following reports of SSC CGL Tier-1 exam mismanagement across centres in Delhi NCR, reportedly exam has been cancelled at Centres in Jammu and Delhi. SSC CGL aspirants have also reported issues at exam centre in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
A notice dated September 12, issued by the Staff Selection Commission (North West Region) regarding ‘Cancellation Notice’ is doing rounds. The Notice with subject -Exam Cancellation Notice of CGLE-2025 in Digital Computer Education, states that the Examination Scheduled at Digital Computer Education, Jammu on 12.09.2025(1st shift) is cancelled due to technical reasons.
The SSC notice reads: "It is hereby informed to all the concerned candidates that the Examination Scheduled at Digital Computer Education, Jammu on 12.09.2025(1st shift) is cancelled due to technical reasons.”
It further states that all the candidates scheduled at above centre will be rescheduled on 26.09.2025.
A similar notice is doing rounds, which states cancellation of exam at M M Public School, Gurugram and Bharti Vidya Niketan Public School, Delhi. Shiksha was first to report regarding MM Public School SSC CGL exam cancellation issue.
This notice states: “It is hereby informed to all the concerned candidates that the Examination Scheduled in M M Public School Gurugram & Bharti Vidya Niketan Public School, Delhi on 12.09.2025 is cancelled due to Administrative reasons. All the candidates scheduled at above centres on 12.09.2025 will be reschedule on 24, 25 & 26.09.2025.”
An X (formerly Twitter) user, Gaurav Shyama Pandey writes: “Is this an exam or chaos? This is the Kanpur center. It's the SSC CGL exam. First of all, the exam didn’t start on time. And then, the kids are alleging that when they reached the center to take the exam, their admit cards were taken, and they were thrown out. They were told, there aren’t even any seats available.”
Staff Selection Commission is conducting the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam from today, September 12, following vendor related controvercy in August. The Computer Based Test (CBT) is being held till September 26, 2025, in multiple shifts at 260 centres across 129 cities.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2025 on its official website - ssc.gov.in by November 2025. The Commission conducted the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2025 till October 14, 2025. The candidates will be required to check their results online only. The SSC CGL 2025 Result will be released in online mode.
The SSC CGL Cutoff 2025 will also be released with the result pdf.

The Staff Selection Commission is expected to release the SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2025 by November. The Commission conducted the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 exam till October 14, 2025. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted as a Computer-Based Exam at the designated exam centres.
