SSC CGL 2025-26: Tier 2 Result & Cut Off OUT, Dates, Admit Card, Syllabus & Pattern

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL 2025-26 Result for the Tier 2 exam that was held on January 18 and 19. Candidates can download it from the direct link provided below. The Commission released the Tier 1 result on December 18, 2025. Scroll down for more details. 

SSC CGL 2025 Tier 2 Result OUT at ssc.gov.in: The Staff Selection Commission announced the SSC CGL 2025-26 Result for the Tier 2 on the official website at ssc.gov.in. The exam was conducted on January 18 and 19. It was released under the candidates' login. Candidates can download the SSC CGL 1st Allocation Result pdf also by using their Registration ID and password. The Mains result PDF consists of the names of the candidates and roll numbers who have cleared it. A total of 15,118 candidates have been shortlisted in SSC CGL 2025-26 final merit list. Now, sliding round of SS CGL will commence from April 13 to 22, 2026. The Commission released the Tier 1 result and cutoff on December 18. In the result, the Commission selected 1,39,395 candidates for the Tier 2 exam. 

The candidates should note that SSC CGL exam was conducted from September 12 to 26 and on October 14 last year. The SSC CGL 2025 answer key was released on October 16 and the representations were invited against the incorrect answers.

The Commission did not release the Tie-resolution formula for the candidates with the result. The candidates should note that the date of birth is one of the factor in Tie-resolution. The older candidates will be given preference over the younger one. There are three post groups in SSC CGL as given below:

1. For Statistical Investigator
2. For Junior Statistical Officer
3. For All Other Posts

The Commission also released the SSC CGL 2025 Cutoff for each post group with the result.

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC CGL result at ssc.gov.in. The Commission mentioned the roll number, names, category and the marks of the qualified candidates.

SSC CGL 2025 Cutoff Released

The Staff Selection Commission also released the SSC CGL 2025 Cutoff for all the categories of all the post groups separately. The Commission also mentioned the number of candidates available under each category for the Tier 2 exam.

$ Including 10-ESM category candidates qualifying at cut-off marks of PwD(HH) category. # Including 04-ESM category candidates qualifying at cut-off marks of PwD(VH) category. ^ Including 33-ESM category candidates qualifying at cut-off marks of PwD(Others) category. * In addition to the UR candidates shown above, a total of 3561-SC, 855-ST, 24404-OBC, 10568-EWS, 38-ESM, 103-OH, 11-HH, 75-VH and 07-PwD(Others) candidates qualifying at UR Standards (both prescribed Cut-off marks and Age- limit) have been shown under their respective categories.

SSC CGL 2025 Answer Key

The Staff Selection Commission is expected to release the SSC CGL 2025 final answer key soon at ssc.gov.in. This year, the Commission asked the candidates not to share the details of their question paper and answer key to anyone through an undertaking from them. It released the provisional answer key on October 16. The Commission also released the question paper and the SSC CGL answer key as the candidate's response sheet. The candidates were required to download their response sheet. The Commission also asked the candidates to send objections against the incorrect answers given in the answer key.

SSC CGL 2025 City Intimation & Admit Card

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL Admit card on January 15, 2026 for Tier 2 exam. This exam will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Exam(CBE).

About SSC CGL 2025

The Commission conduct the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam every year to recruit candidates for the Group B and Group C posts. • a citizen of India, or
• a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or
• a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

SSC CGL 2025 One-Time Registration

Candidates who don't have the SSC One-Time Registration (OTR) number need to register on the official website - ssc.gov.in before applying for the SSC Combined Graduate Level 2025 exam. The SSC OTR is a must to fill out the SSC CGL application form.

SSC CGL 2025 Application Form

The candidates should note that the SSC CGL 2025 application started with the release of an official notification. The SSC CGL online applications were available on the official website only. The candidates were required to log in with their OTR and password for SSC CGL online application form.

How to Apply for SSC CGL 2025?

The SSC CGL apply online link was activated with the release of the official notification. The SSC CGL 2025 applications were available online only. The candidates were required One-Time Registration (OTR) to fill out the SSC CGL 2025 online application. 

SSC CGL 2025 Application Fee

SSC CGL form fee was INR 100 only. Once the form was duly filled, candidates can to pay the SSC CGL application fee through SBI Challan/BHIM UPI/Net Banking or by using Visa/Mastercard/Maestro Credit/RuPay debit card. 

SSC CGL 2025 application correction fee was INR 200 for the first time and INR 500 for the second time.
