UPPSC UPPCS 2020 New Exam dates announced: Prelims on October 11

The UPPSC has announced new exam dates for the UPPCS 2020 prelims exam. The UPPSC 2020 exam was scheduled to be conducted on June 21 but was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Uttar Pradesh Combined State/Upper Subordinate or UPPSC 2020 prelims will now be conducted on October 11 as per the new exam calendar released by UPPSC.

The UPPSC also announced the UPPCS 2020 main exam dates in the new exam calendar for 2020. The UPPSC main exam 2020 will be conducted from January 22, 2021. These exam dates are very close to the IAS exam dates released by UPSC.

The UPPSC PCS exam is the most prestigious exam of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. The name UPPCS is derived from the Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Services. The UPPSC 2020 prelims will be a screening exam and the marks secured in the UPPCS prelims exam will not be considered in the final UPPSC result 2020.

The UPPSC 2020 prelims will be conducted as per the UPPSC exam pattern notified in the UPPSC notification 2020. The UPPSC prelims 2020 will be an objective type exam having two question papers. Each question paper will be of 200 marks. The pattern of the exam is as follows.

The UPPSC UPPCS 2020 exam was notified on April 21 and the UPPSC 2020 application closed on June 4. The Application dates were also extended once because of the coronavirus.
