For the academic session 2021-22, there will be a single CUCET 2021 application form for admission to 41 central universities.
In a major shift from the past, CUCET exam shall be a part of the new National Education Policy 2020. The entrance exam will enable a candidate to apply or be eligible for all the Central Universities form one single entrance exam. According to media reports, the test will be conducted once a year, preferably in the month of June and results will be declared in July, so as to not upset the admission cycle.
Highlights of CUCET Exam Pattern
Given below are the major pattern highlights for the examination:

The test is likely to contain two sections of 50 questions each. Section 1: will have questions on the reading, comprehension, logical and analytical abilities, while Section 2: will have questions based on domain knowledge

CUCET will have bilingual questions i.e. in English and in Hindi

The time duration for the examination is 180 minutes (3-hour)

Note: In order to qualify or be eligible for admissions to any of the Central Universities, an aspirant is expected to secure at least 50 per cent for eligibility. But, in the end, the Universities will be free to decide to provide admissions on their own set criteria.
