CUET PG 2025 exam conducted successfully today, April 1, 2025 at 312 national and overseas exam centers. A total of 4,12,024 unique registered candidates have taken CUET PG 2025 exam in 43 shifts for 157 subjects. CUET PG 2025 overall exam difficulty level was found to be moderate as compared with the previous year, this year the questions asked were of more high aptitude level.

CUET PG exam for the academic session 2025-2026 conducted successfully today, April 1,2025 at 312 exam centres across the nation and overseas. The exam was held for 157 masters degree and professional degree courses in the duration of 16 days, started from March 13, 2025 till April 1, 2025.

A total number of 4,12,024 unique registered candidates have taken CUET PG 2025 exam for admissions to the 190+ participating universities. CUET PG 2025 exam was conducted online/CBT mode in 43 shifts in total. Out of which the exam will be held majorly in three shifts each day, namely, morning shift from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, afternoon shift from 12:30 PM to 2 PM and evening shift from 4 PM to 5:30 PM.

As per the reactions taken from the test takers, CUET PG 2025 exam difficulty level was found to be moderate and as compared with the previous year, this year the questions asked were of more high aptitude level. Candidates also found difficulty in managing the time allotted for the exam, as the exam duration was reduced from 105 minutes to 90 minutes.

CUET PG 2025 Cut Off

Based on the students reactions and previous year trends overall the following CUET PG 2025 expected cut off can be a good score for the candidates to get admissions:

  • General Category: 190-210
  • OBC Category: 180-200
  • SC Category: 170-185
  • ST Category: 165-175

CUET PG 2025 Answer Key

NTA, the exam officials have not specified any specific CUET PG 2025 answer key release. However, based on the previous year trends, it is anticipated that the CUET PG 2025 answer key will be released in the first week of April 2025.
Candidates should know that at first the exam officials will release the CUET PG 2025 provisional answer key. Candidates will get the opportunity to raise objections against the answer key if they are not satisfied.
After taking the response and making the required changes, NTA will publish the CUET PG 2025 Final Answer Key in the second week of April 2025.

Q:   Is the section A score considered by Jawaharlal Nehru University for CUET PG merit list?
A:

The exam pattern of CUET PG is such that, these 100 MCQ questions will be divided in two sections. Section will consist of 25 questions on Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability and Section B will consist of 75 domain-specific questions. While making the merit list of CUET PG courses by JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University), they doesnot include the section A marks scored by the candidates. Therefore the final marks out which the CUET PG 2023 merist list is made are 300 marks.

Here are the few tips:

  • Candidates should go through the exam pattern and structure of the test.
  • Create a monthly timetable on how much material to cover on a daily basis.
  • students should get hold of some of the best books for CUET PG preparation.
  • After completing the syllabus, they should take regular mock tests and analyse their performance. Solving previous years’ question papers will also expose them to the topics and question types to expect in the actual exam.
Q:   What are the factors upon which CUET PG exam difficulty level depends?

The CUET PG exam difficulty level is depicted in the range of moderate to high. CUET PG examination is conducted into various streams and master's subjects, therefore it is difficult to say the difficulty level of the examination subject wise. However, the difficulty level of the exam varies from subject to subject. 

Here are some factors upon which CUET PG examination level depends:

  1. First and foremost the exam difficulty level depends upon the preparation done by the appearing candidates.
  2. The level of questions aked by the exam authority during the examination. Some questions asked in the examination are highly miscellaneous, which increases the difficulty level of the question paper. 
  3. Difficulty level factors also depends upon the number of seats the participating university is offering, or whether the number of applicants for the particular subjects are high. Difficulty level also depends on the demand of the course among the students across the country. For example- MSc Mathematics course is highly popular among the BSc undergraduates, therefore the number of applicants for the same will be high, also the cut off of MSc Maths will be high of reputed/High NIRF ranking institutes.

cuet PG 2025 - the paper was actually tough the questions asked were of UPSC level which have come in there exam level type. The subject we are giving the test it itself has less proportion of its basic The paper was wore of high level gk aptitude. Which we were not prepared of. It's a request that
