CUET UG 2026 test takers have reported discrepancies in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026 provisional answer key which was released on June 09, 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a clarification, asking candidates to follow official CUET 2026 objection process instead of spreading unverified claims on social media. NTA also confirmed that CUET 2026 answer key challenge fee will be refunded for all accepted or valid objections.
NTA Reacts to Claims of Wrong CUET UG 2026 Answer Key
The clarification came after several students and education experts raised concerns online, claiming that the CUET UG 2026 provisional answer key contains incorrect answers. In response, the NTA stated that the examination was conducted across 37 subjects in multiple shifts from May 11 to May 31, 2026, with additional sessions held on June 6 and June 7 after the May 28 exam was postponed due to Bakrid. CUET examination included more than 18,000 questions across different papers and shifts.
NTA Says Challenges Are Within Standard Norms
NTA said that the number of objections received so far is well within the standard range typically observed in large-scale examinations. The agency added that every challenge submitted by candidates is carefully reviewed by subject experts before the final answer key is released.
CUET 2026 Objection Window: Will NTA Extend Last Date?
The last date for CUET answer key 2026 objection is unlikely to be extended. NTA closed the CUET 2026 answer key challenge window on June 11, 2026 at 10 PM. NTA is expected to release the CUET final answer key 2026 anytime soon based on the objections received.
