The Delhi University (DU) has announced important updates regarding undergraduate (UG) admissions for the academic session 2025-26 through CUET UG 2025. Admissions to all UG programs will be conducted solely through the CUET UG 2025 across its 69 colleges offering 79 UG programs. The university has outlined important guidelines for CUET UG registration, CUET subject combination, and programme-specific eligibility criteria to ensure a smooth admission process of DU.
CUET UG 2025 Registration & Correction Window
- The CUET UG 2025 registration deadline may or may not be extended, candidates must apply timely.
- CUET UG form 2025 correction window will be provided, enabling applicants to modify specific details.
- Candidates must enter their name in capital letters, exactly as mentioned in their Class 10th and 12th certificates.
- Details such as parent information and category must be entered accurately, as they will be auto-integrated into DU’s admission portal and become non-editable once fetched.
CUET UG 2025 Subject Selection Guidelines
- Candidates should choose at least one language subject.
- Other CUET subject choices must align to Class 12th subjects.
- Mismatched subject selection can lead to the CSAS DU 2025 application rejection.
- Example: If a student studied Economics in Class 12th but appears for History in CUET UG, the History score will not be considered, and admission may be denied.
- Best CUET scores will be automatically calculated for the final admission process.
DU Admission Through CUET UG 2025
- CSAS UG 2025 registration is mandatory for all UG programs after CUET results are declared.
- No other application mode will be accepted for DU admissions.
- CUET application number is compulsory for registering in DU’s admission portal.
- Subject selection in CUET must align with Class 12th subjects to meet program-specific eligibility.
- No penalty for stream change, but the candidate must have studied the relevant subjects in Class 12th.
- GAP year students are eligible to apply without restrictions.
- 79 UG courses are offered at 69 colleges of DU.
DU Program-Specific Eligibility Criteria
Candidates while selecting the CUET subjects must check the UG course eligibility and align the subjects accordingly. Refer the eligibility criteria for a few top DU courses below:
- B.Com (Hons.): Must have studied Mathematics or Accountancy and select other CUET subjects
- B.Sc (Hons.) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics: Mathematics is compulsory.
- B.Sc (Hons.) in Biological Sciences, Botany, or Zoology: Must appear for a language paper, but merit will be calculated based on PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
- Performing Arts Courses: 50% weightage is given to CUET scores, while 50% is based on performance evaluation.
DU Seat Allocation & CSAS UG 2025 Process
- CSAS UG 2025 registration is compulsory for all applicants seeking admission to DU.
- DU will allocate seats through the CSAS UG 2025 portal after CUET results are declared.
- No direct admissions or alternative application methods will be entertained.

NTA will commence the CUET registrations 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in tentatively in first week of March. Candidates can fill the online CUET application form online on official website when released. Candidates will be able to enter the personal, educational and CUET subject details to appear for the exam. Candidates must pay the CUET application fee to complete the registration process.
