Mahindra University to Host BHE Summit on April 23–24; Participation from 150+ Universities Scheduled

Bharat Higher Education Summit 2025 (BHES) aims to serve as a transformative platform to shape the future of higher education under the theme ‘Building Next Generation Leaders in Higher Education'.

Mahindra University will host Bharat Higher Education Summit 2025 (BHES) on April 23 and 24. The summit will include Vice Chancellors from more than 150+ leading universities across India to be a part of a transformative platform to shape the future of higher education in India. The summit is organised by the Confederation of Indian Private Universities (CIPU) in association with Hyderabad-based Mahindra University’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-MU). 

The summit, which will be conducted for two days, will include keynotes, plenary sessions, and discussions on panels with leading experts, policymakers, academic visionaries, and industry veterans.  The workshops will focus on specific challenges and possibilities in academic administration, research capacity development, digital evolution, entrepreneurship, and innovation in higher education in India, bringing vital insights to our esteemed audience.

Dr. Yajulu Medury, Chairperson, CIPU Southern India Regional Council and Vice Chancellor, Mahindra University, highlighted his delight regarding the summit,t saying “BHES 2025 is an effort to bring together visionary academic leaders to chart a collective course for building globally competent, future-ready institutions and bridge the gap between industry and academia. Mahindra University is proud to facilitate and be at the forefront of this crucial dialogue on leadership, research, innovation, and policy.”

The event will include prominent figures as the Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) T.G. Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE, and Guest of Honour Prof. (Dr.) Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, Executive Committee, NAAC and Chairman, NBA.

On day two, the sessions on a diverse range of forward-looking topics and the future of academic leadership in the next 10 years will be discussed. Further, topics such as public-private partnership in research capacity building and digital leadership skills will also be discussed.
