The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted CUET UG 2025 exams between 13 May and 03 June 2025 in CBT mode for 37 subjects, including core subjects from Commerce, Science, and Arts streams. While every student experiences the exam differently, Shiksha conducted a poll to better understand students’ views on the Commerce stream. The poll asked candidates to vote for the toughest subject in CUET UG 2025 Commerce, and according to the majority of votes received, Mathematics was the most difficult subject.

Over 2000 candidates casted their votes for the poll, "Which CUET 2025 Commerce subject did you find the toughest?" and the results are as follows:
- 30% of students found the CUET 2025 Mathematics exam difficult.
- Close behind was Accountancy with 28% votes, which shows students struggled with the numerically based questions.
- English came in third, with 19% of students marking it as tough.
- CUET Economics 2025 followed English with 15% votes.
- Interestingly, Business Studies was rated the least difficult, with only 9% votes.
CUET UG 2025 Mathematics Difficulty Level
The CUET 2025 Mathematics exams were conducted in multiple shifts between 13 May and 03 June 2025, which means there were different sets of CUET 2025 mathematics question papers. According to the reactions and feedback received from CUET applicants of different cities, the average difficulty level of CUET Mathematics Exam 2025 was moderate to difficult. Most of the test papers were lengthy and calculative, making it difficult for candidates to complete the exam on time. Additionally, students had to leave certain questions unanswered because of negative marking of 1 mark.

CUET 2025 Answer Key
As the Common University Entrance Test (UG) 2025 is over, the National Testing Agency will soon release the CUET 2025 provisional answer key for Science, Commerce, and Arts stream subjects. The tentative date for the release of the CUET answer key and response sheet is third week of June 2025. Candidates can challenge the answer key for any incorrect or wrong answers. After reviewing the challenges received, NTA will release the CUET final answer key 2025 followed by CUET results.

On analysing the CUET UG cut off for the academic year 2025-26, scoring above 700 marks can be considered a good score in CUET UG. Candidates scoring above 700 may fall in the category of 95+ percentile. Candidates can get admission to top universities like University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and other top central universities in the desired course. Given below is the range that is considered good for admission to top universities:
- Very Good Score: 700 and above
- Good Score: 650 and above
Score range between 400-649 is considered an average score. Admission on the basis of the average score can et into any decent college in India accepting CUET scores.
The difficulty level of the CUET exam ranges from moderate to tough. Since the CUET UG exam is held for multiple subjects and slots, the difficulty level of the exam varies from subject to subject. Sometimes, the difficulty level may also vary for different slots. The difficulty level of exam is also relative and the same exam's level of difficulty may vary for different slots and candidates. While for the well-prepared candidates, the difficulty level will be low, for the underprepared students, the level of difficulty will be on the higher side.

CUET UG total marks is 250 Marks for each subject. Candidates can choose up to five CUET subjects. Each subject paper has 50 questions which will total to 250 marks for each subject. For every correct answer, candidate will get 5 marks. The CUET total marks will be uniform for all 37 subjects.
