MAH BEd CET 2026 Application Form to be LIVE SOON!

The exam dates were announced this November, and now students are anticipating the registration process. The MAH BEd CET 2026 application form is all set to begin soon in December. The State Common Entrance Test Cell will soon start the MAH BEd CET registrations for all the candidates who wish to get admission in BEd colleges across Maharashtra. MAH BEd CET 2026 Registration: The State Common Entrance Test Cell released the tentative exam dates for MAH BEd, MEd, and BEd-MEd for the 2026 session. The candidates are awaiting the MAH BEd CET 2026 registration form to be live. Last year, it started on December 28 and continued till February 28, 2025. The MAH BEd CET 2026 Application Form is expected to be live soon on the official website- https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ in the last week of December.

MAH BEd CET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Like every year, the requirements are expected to remain same. 

A. Candidates from Maharashtra State

i) The Candidate Should be an Indian National.

(ii) They should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree and/or a Master’s Degree. The subjects could be Sciences and Mathematics /Social Sciences (History/ Geography / Economics / Political Sciences / Psychology / Philosophy / Education /Library) / Humanities Sciences (All Languages and Literature) / Commerce. A minimum of 50% marks for UR, and 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories, is needed.

OR

(ii) They should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree and/or a Master’s Degree. The subjects in Engineering and Technology / (with Science and Mathematics as a special subjects) / Bachelor’s Degree with the subjects: Management / Engineering / Computers / Law / Information Technology / Agriculture/ BBI / Medical Sciences / All Social Sciences / Fine Art / Performing Art (Music / Dance / Drama, etc.). The minimum 55% marks (Minimum 50% marks in case of Backward Class categories.

B. All India Candidature Candidates:- Other State Candidates :

(i) The candidate should have passed/appeared in any Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree. The universities must be incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be a Deemed University.

(ii) Candidate must score a minimum of 55% of marks for all categories.

C. NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National Students/CIWGC Candidature

i) The candidate should have valid NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National/CIWGC documents mentioned.

(ii) The candidate should have passed/appeared in any Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree. The universities must be incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be a Deemed University.

(iii) Candidate must score a minimum of 55% of marks for all categories.

MAH BEd CET Syllabus 2026

The question paper will be based on three sections: Mental Ability, General Knowledge, and Teaching Aptitude. The teaching test includes these topics

Mental Ability

This section weighs around 40% in the final entrance test.
