NIOS 12 th

The NIOS 12th exam is generally considered to have moderate level difficulty. Students can prepare for the NIOS 12th exam by solving through the previous years' question papers. They should be thorough with the syllabus.

Students are advised to solve as many sample question papers as they can for the NIOS 12th exam. There is no fixed number of sample papers that should be solved for the NIOS 12th board exam. 

The duration of NIOS 12th exam is 3 hours. The NIOS 12th board exam is held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. 

NIOS 12th date 2026 is not yet released. NIOS 12th exam 2026 will be held in April-May 2026. The board will release the NIOS 12th date sheet 2026 on the official website - nios.ac.in March 2026. 

Students have to score 33% of the total marks to qualify the NIOS Class 12 board exam. For NIOS 12th, they have to score a minimum of 33% in the aggregate in the practical and theory exams.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) conducts the NIOS 12th exam. NIOS Class 12th exams are held 2 times in a year. The NIOS 12th exam will be held in April-May (block I) and Oct-Nov (block II). Students can register in any block for the exam.

NIOS date sheet 2026 for practical exam March will be released in Feb 2026 tentatively. NIOS Class 10th and Class 12th practical exam will be held in March 2026. NIOS 12th eligibility: minimum age 15 years by July 31 passed Class 10 from a recognised board, and required documents like marksheet, ID, and proof of residence.
