Fill out the UP CNET Application Form

Admission to the BSc Nursing Course will be done through the UP CNET 2025 entrance exam only. To appear for the exam, it is mandatory to fill out the UP CNET 2025 application form. The application form shall be submitted through the online mode only via the website www.abvmuup.edu.in. No Change in the application form will be possible after final submission. Incomplete applications will be rejected without any further intimation. If any applicant provides false information solely to appear in the examination for practice or other purposes, the applicant will be debarred from the Entrance Examination in the future.

Pay the UP CNET Application Fee

The examination fee, once deposited, will not be refunded. The fee will not be carried forward to a future examination. The candidate must note that mere deduction of the fee from the bank account is not proof of fee payment. The payment should be supported by a fee payment receipt.

Admit Cards will be available online and can be downloaded through the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, U.P. website – www.abvmuup.edu.in on May 14, 2025. 

Appear in the UP CNET Entrance Exam

The candidate has to appear for the Examination at the allotted Centre on May 21, 2025. The Reporting Time is generally 9:00 AM (Two hours before the start of the Examination). A mandatory bio-metric capturing will be done at the entry gate of the Test Centre. Entry to the examination centre will not be allowed after 10:00 AM.

UP CNET Result Announcement

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow, the official exam conducting body will release the UP CNET 2025 result online. A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Entrance Test. A combined merit list and category-wise merit list will be drawn.

Participate in UP CNET Counselling

The selection and allotment of college will be strictly done based on the BSc Nursing Course Common Entrance Test (CNET)-2025 merit list through counselling only. Candidate who qualifies the admission to the BSc Nursing course will have to deposit the prescribed admission fee on the date notified for that purpose by the University.

Join the UP CNET Course

Candidates would be required to join the course within the specified period.

UP CNET Reservation Policy

• Reservation for disability (PH): 5% Horizontal reservation will be considered for disabled candidates with a disability of locomotor disability to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity, and other eligibility criteria concerning qualification will be the same as prescribed for Unreserved (UR) category candidates.
• EWS quota of 10% may be admissible as per directives of the U.P. Government from time to time.
• Reservation for Minority Educational Institutions will be as per the Govt. of UP norms/ directives.

Reservation certificates should be verifiable online through an official Government Portal/Website.

• The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2025.
• Candidates with Science who have passed (10+2) examination and must have obtained a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category who have obtained 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together.
• English is a compulsory subject in Class 11 and 12 for eligibility for admission in BSc Nursing programme.
• Unless a candidate is declared medically fit by the Medical Board constituted by the Government Medical College or the District CMO, he/she will not be eligible to join the course.

UP CNET application process 2025 concluded on May 3, 2025 (EXTENDED). Earlier, the UP CNET registration last date was April 26, 2025. The UP CNET registration process was held online for both the BSc Nursing Course and the Post Basic BSc Nursing Course. UP CNET 2025 application process started on March 25, 2025, on the official website of the exam conducting body, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, UP - www.abvmuup.edu.in 

It was mandatory to register for the entrance exam online and submit the necessary documents as mentioned in the application form guidelines. Applicants had to create a User ID and Password to register for the UP CNET exam. This ID and password would be required in all future events such as: downloading admit card, and retrieving the result, which will be published online.

UP CNET 2025 Test Centers are located in the major cities of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates willing to appear for the BSc nursing, Post Basic BSc nursing entrance exam can choose one of the following test cities as mentioned below:

UP CNET 2025 admit card/hall ticket is available at the official website on May 15, 2025. Candidates can download it through the official website, i.e., www.abvmuup.edu.in. Individual login details such as Registered ID Number & Login Password will be required to retrieve the UP CNET admit card. The UP CNET admit card will not be sent by post. Candidates are advised to preserve his/her UP CNET admit card in good condition for future reference. It might be required at the time of counselling for document verification.

In case the candidate has forgotten their login ID and password, then he/she is advised to click on the "Forgot Login ID and password" tab. Thereafter, a screen would pop up wherein the candidate would have to mention his/her registered mobile number to retrieve the details. 

UP CNET 2025 exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based) for 200 minutes. There will be multiple-choice questions in the exam with four options each. The state-level nursing entrance exam carries 200 questions of one mark each.
