MSc Nursing Admission Process 2026

Read the MSc nursing admission process which will be followed in general by the colleges or state boards to conduct entrance exams in 2026:

  1. Fill the Application Forms: Nursing aspirants need to register at the official website of the preferred institute/university to enroll for the entrance exam/admission. The application forms will be available in online mode at the official website of the conducting body.
  2. Download the Admit card: After the successful submission of application forms and the requisite application fee, the applicants will be issued the admit cards to appear in the entrance exam.
  3. Appear for the entrance exam: It is mandatory to appear for the entrance exam, without which admission will not be granted.  
  4. Wait for the Result Declaration: The competent authority will release the result based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance exam. 
  5. Check the Cut-off list: Check the cut-off list once it is released. It will show the minimum qualifying marks, and candidates have to fulfill the requirement of complying with the cut-off to secure MSc nursing admission. 
  6. Participate in Counselling: The admission process for MSc Nursing will be based on counselling for most of the top colleges. Some colleges will conduct the counselling process in an online mode after asking for a pre-specified counselling fee. 
  7. Check the Seat allotment Result: Based on counselling and the candidates’ scores, seats will be allotted to the candidates as per the choices filled at the time of choice filling and locking option.
