Aliah University offers good education and a campus, but the placement scope is limited.

Placements: A total of 68 students are present in our batch. All students complete their internships at Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital. Nursing students work in various fields like community health, public health, teaching, staffing, etc. They work as community health officers, public health officers, staff nurses, and clinical instructors. Feelings vary from person to person. Salary of nursing officers is up to Rs. 40,000 to 1 lakh.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are well-structured. Many fans, tubelights, chairs, and tables are present in our classroom. A library is present in our department, with various types of books available. Hostel quality is also good, and food availability is good. Medical facilities are well-equipped.

Faculty: In our department all teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They provide teaching in a good manner, this course curriculum is relevant. Semester exam is difficult but pass percentage is good approximately 99%. In this course we celebrates various programs like breastfeeding week. Self care. Aids day. Tuberculosis day. Menstrual hygiene etc. All event are relevant for nursing curriculum.

Other: I chose this course because I want to provide nursing care for ill persons. I want to help poor people through nursing care. Now I am a nursing student, and I got a scholarship from SVMCM, which is 6000 per year. I participate in extracurricular activities like sports, long jump, high jump, running, etc.
