Candidates seeking admission to Aliah University must apply through an online mode of application on the university's official website. The step-wise Aliah University application process is as follows:

Complete the application form with all the mandatory details.
Upload the required documents during application.
After submitting the online application successfully a confirmation sheet/ pdf bearing the full application summary with the photo & signature of the candidate will be generated by the system.
Step 1.5: Download and print the confirmation sheet and save it for future use.
Selection Criteria
Admission to the BTech course is subject to the in-house entrance exam Aliah University Admission Test. Candidates are shortlisted for final admission based on the BTech eligibility criteria and the exam scores. The university releases a provisional merit List/ result based on the exam performance.
Aliah University Admission Test
AUAT is conducted offline (pen and paper test) and the duration of the entrance exam is 2 hours. Candidates have to register themselves online on the official website of Aliah University to fill out the AUAT application forms. While filling out the Aliah University application form, candidates must select the admission test centers in order of their preference. Later, applicants have to download and print the admit card within the stipulated time by logging in to the admission portal using his/her User ID and Password.
Merit Lists
Once the AUAT results are announced, the exam conducting body i.e., Aliah University releases the merit lists on the official website of the exam. Notably, the AUAT merit list is prepared based on the performance of the students in the AUAT exam.
Counselling
Candidates’ names which are mentioned in the merit list will have to register themselves via e-counselling. The candidate will have to select the programs as per the admission preference and pay a counselling fee.
Final Admission
Candidates must pay the Aliah University BTech fee to secure final admission. Candidates must pay the Aliah University courses fee within that scheduled date & time candidates via online mode only applicable for all the courses.

Yes, candidates have to follow an age limit to be eligible for BTech at AU-QUASAR. Candidates applying for BTech admission must not exceed the age of 21 years and be older than 17 years.
This age limit is very similar to the one imposed on one of the accepted entrance exam JEE Mains.

Yes, AU-QUASAR BTech admissions are open for academic year 2026. Candidates can apply for admissions if they have received their entrance exam scorecards. All these exams have been concluded at this point thus, any candidate who failed to appear in them must now wait for 2027 admissions to begin.
