Shiksha approached the students appearing for NDA (I) 2021 exam to gather their feedback on whether the exam should be conducted or not amid the surge in COVID-19 cases. Check below what students have to say regarding the same.
Gulam Subhani, who will be appearing for the exam from Bareilly, said, “UPSC should postpone NDA exam as the cases are increasing. We don’t know if there is someone among those appearing for the exam carrying the virus. Then that person will infect many and this will be a risk. It is better to postpone the exam.”
COVID-19 guidelines issued by UPSC for NDA 2021 exam
UPSC has laid down strict guidelines for students who will be appearing for NDA 2021 exam on April 18, keeping in view the safety of candidates. Check below the COVID-19 guidelines issued by UPSC for NDA 2021 exam.
- Wearing of mask/face cover is mandatory for all candidates
- Candidates without mask/face cover will not be allowed entry into the NDA exam centres
- Candidates, however, will have to remove their masks for verification, whenever required by the exam centre officials
- Candidate may carry own hand sanitizer (small size) in transparent bottle
- Candidates to follow COVID-19 norms of social distancing as well as personal hygiene inside the exam centre
- Students having any symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to enter the exam centre
How to travel to exam centre amid COVID-19 restrictions?
Various parts of the country are either under lockdown or observing strict adherence to the rules. Therefore, candidates are asking how will they travel to the exam centre in such a scenario. Here, candidates should that their NDA 2021 admit cards will serve as pass to travel to the exam centre amid lockdown or curfew.
