The National Institute of Fashion Technology is expected to start the registration process soon for NIFT Entrance Exam 2026. The application will open for UG and PG programmes. Read in detail to know more.
NIFT UG and PG Application 2026
The application form for NIFT 2026 Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes can be out anytime now. NIFT 2026 registration is expected to open in November 2025. NIFT Application form will be the same for all the courses offered at NIFT. The application form will be available on the website of NIFT: nift.ac.in/admission.
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria and then apply for the NIFT programmes. The application fee is expected to be around INR 3,000 for Open categories and INR 1500 for SC, ST, and PwD categories). NIFT Entrance Exam is conducted by NTA and this year the exam is expected to be conducted in the second week of February 2026.
How to fill NIFT 2026 Application form?
Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria must apply for the exam following the process below.
- Register for the exam - To register for the exam, the candidate must first enter their Aadhaar number. Then enter personal details like name, email ID, and mobile number. On successful registration, an applicant account will be created.
- Fill in the form- Log in to the newly created account and fill in personal, academic, and contact details. Also, select an exam center for the NIFT 2026 exam.
- Upload documents- In this step, you will have to upload documents like photographs and signatures per the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee - The candidate has to finally pay the application fee to complete the application process.

The NIFT 2024 application form will open shortly. When filling out the form, the candidate will have to upload the following documents.
Self-attested certificates of qualifying examination, i.e.10+2/degree (marks sheet and certificate)
In case the candidate has appeared for qualifying exam/compartment (of final year/semester) and the result is due, the date sheet /admit card for examination has to be uploaded.
