Mystory@Sneha: How I selected my college and course
I got to know about my college through one of the advertisements I came across. Before selecting it, I thoroughly searched about the placement statistics of my college and applied shortly after that. Soon, I received the call letter as well.
I was surprised to see so many people getting through the merit list and wanted to quit that very moment. But, I didn’t. I took my admission letter and joined PJTSAU(Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University).
In BSc, for 2 years the subjects are common every students. After 2 years, students are given an option to select the specialisation subject. So, based on liking and strength, I selected subjects like Human Development and Family Studies and Nutrition department. The subject of specialisation was allotted basis our grade points.
I was very happy on the first day of my college. Initially, I had trouble understanding what was taught in the class but my professors helped me a lot in clearing all my doubts. Infact, my seniors too were of great help especially when it came to practical sessions. I was a little weak in Practicals. From there on, I made sure I work hard and shine like a star.
I also participated in various extra-curricular activities like millet fest where I was a volunteer, singing and dancing. I can proudly say that these four years were the best years of my life.
