With correct career planning and skillset you can eventually become a Agriculture Officers, Bank Probationary Officer, Agronomist, Seed Technologist. Normally in February every year, a notification from ICAR is given for admission to Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral courses of various Agricultural Universities and Colleges of ICAR and States. The process is online for this a link is provided on the ICAR website http://www.icar.org.in and also on the websites of agricultural universities and colleges.
There is an online entrance exam like JEE, AIEE, etc. in the second week of June, based on the course applied among the eligible candidates. The result is declared in four weeks. The eligible candidates are called for counselling at Delhi and are given a choice from their preference purely on merit bases however category reserved seats, SC, OBC etc. are called first.
Sister Nivedita University offers seats in most of the programmes based on entrance-exam scores. SNUET is a common entrance exam conducted for all the UG & PG courses by the university. However, the university also accepts scores of national or state-level entrance exams such as WBJEE, GATE, etc. for specific programmes. Candidates must fulfil the basic eligibility requirements and qualify the respective entrance exams to confirm their admission.

The Neotia University BSc in Nautical Science is a three-year course, further divided into six semesters. The course structure is based on the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS).
